At Third Aspect, I served as a production assistant (runner, camera operator, gaffer) and a photo retoucher, handling studio photoshoots for products, beauty, fashion, and portraits. I managed and edited various projects, including medical, drama, commercial, and promotional content, contributing to major branded projects for clients like the NHS, NB Medical, Citroen, Shangri-La, and Betfair. I also created animations for tutorials and promotional purposes. My work earned an RTS North East Award in 2019 for the best commercial.
At Studious Digital Ed Ltd, I led and managed projects from pre-production to post-production, working closely with clients. I oversaw major branded projects for Google, UEA, ULC, RCA, NTU, and IWM Duxford, handling filming equipment and budgeting. Additionally, I filmed and edited high-end commercial projects and contributed to photography.
At Newsquest Media Group, I led the video department, managing producers, videographers, animators, and freelancers. I oversaw project management, pitched for new business, handled budgeting, and worked closely with clients. My responsibilities included system building and operating, daily production operations, and developing the video team. I ensured quality control, filmed and edited high-end commercial projects, and wrote creative treatments and scripts.
At Noor Relief Fund, I was responsible for filming, editing, photography, and operating drones. I created content for social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, designed posters, and produced brand videos. Additionally, I travelled to East Africa to film documentaries in over 20 villages, connecting with locals to tell their stories creatively and raise awareness about critical issues. I also trained external film crews during this time.
